Electronic components have a special place in Xinyi Chen’s heart– she calls them ‘Artificial Intelligems’. She is fascinated with their shapes, textures, colors, precise structures, digital spirituality, and hidden beauty, and draws from her childhood memory of the components used by her computer practitioner mother. 

EÈ CHAN combines electronic waste with silver and 3D design techniques, explore the past, future, and present world we live in, creating her own idiom. Through the elevation of e-waste as a luxury material, EÈ CHAN challenges traditional fine jewellery. The brand proposes a transgressive approach to what we value moving forward, highlighting boundary between ‘physical versus digital’. It presents a new way of living in digital awe and pleasure.
